Shall He Be Forgiven?
A man that executes his best friend in order to save him from an angry mob, should be forgiven. In order to keep him from suffering, he kills him painlessly. He was not selfish, because he thought of his friend first before himself. Like in the book Of Mice and Men, George had killed Lenny because the mob of men were going to make him suffer, and in the end kill him. He knew that the best way was to just shoot him, because it was better that way than making him feel the pain.
I agree with you, i think that the friend that executed the other friend should be forgiven...But what if they family of the friend that got executed doesnt want to forgive the one who killed him? What if they think they'll never be able to forgive that person? But i do think that that person should be forgiven because really in reality he was thinking about his friend before himself and didnt want his friend to suffer in pain.
ReplyDeleteGood comment Tyler! I like your questions. This raises a whole new side to what Mary said.
Deletei agree with you because he was thinking about his friend. he didnt want him to have to suffer. But the friends family may never forgive him for what he did.
ReplyDeleteI agree with you on this one. Instead of being selfish he was thinking of his friend and what would be best for him. He deserves to be forgiven because he had good intentions.
